I'm so glad you're here.

I'm the face behind A&J Photography Memphis, a Memphis-area photographer, full-time teacher, wife, mom, bonus mom, and your biggest cheerleader behind the camera.

If there's one thing I've learned from teaching and motherhood, it's this: life moves fast. One minute you're cheering at t-ball games and packing school lunches, and the next you're helping your senior pick out a cap and gown. The little moments have a funny way of becoming the ones we miss the most.

That's why I love what I do.

Whether it's senior portraits, family photos, graduations, life's biggest celebrations, or you just want to take photos, my goal is simple: to help you preserve the moments you'll want to relive long after the day is over. You don't have to know how to pose, have perfectly behaved kids, or feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. The best photos happen when you stop trying to be perfect and start being yourself.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me teaching, planning my next family adventure, spoiling my fur baby, celebrating holidays with the people I love, or debating whether pizza or pasta is the superior comfort food.

Around here, you'll find lots of encouragement, a little laughter, and plenty of "Oh my goodness, you look amazing!" moments.
